Sports Therapy / Physiotherapy

Ensuring our players are in the best physical condition they can be is really important to us.

That's why we have dedicated staff working on everything from injury prevention to mobility sessions.

Sports Therapist

Bishop Burton College has a full-time Sports Therapist, Lydia Smith, who has a BSc in Sports Therapy and an MSc in Strength and Conditioning.

Lydia offers injury diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation to get our students back in the game. In addition, she can support students by developing training programmes and helping them in the the gym.

The college also runs injury prevention, yoga and mobility sessions.

Physiotherapy

Physiotherapist Sarah Hattee, from Yorkshire Carnegie, provides additional support to the AASE Rugby Union team three times a week.
